    Job Description
    Pricelock is looking for an extremely skilled and experienced sales executive to lead our regional sales origination efforts for our dynamic new energy market solution "Pricelock Marketplace™". If you want to be on the cutting edge of redefining the energy markets, and help build an exceptional brand going forward, we're interested.     Desired candidate will be an extremely skilled and experienced sales professional and will have a proven track record of closing sizeable commodity transactions and embraces technology as a means for deeper engagement. If you envision a new frontier where technology and commodity markets converge then is your home away from home. As a member of our Sales Team, you will be involved in all aspects of Sales from customer targeting to product positioning, from prospecting to structuring and closing, from ideation to implementation, from website to sales, from educating to transacting. You will interact heavily with our marketing, product, and tech teams and have daily interaction with executive management.
    • Engage prospects in the Electricity and Natural Gas markets with a specific focus on Power Plants and Public Utilities -- You should engage, cultivate and nurture relationships with the end goal of signing the buyers up for an auction, and ensuring robust supplier participation.
    • Strategic as well as Tactical -- This is a hands on job and successful candidate will do everything from cold calling to lead development, and at the same time be able to define and develop sales targeting strategy for their territories. We are looking for individuals who look forward to sales presentations, and are well versed in CRM solutions as well as online collaboration tools such as WebEx. Ability to juggle multiple assignments and multiple solutions is key to success in this job.
    • Apply your skills & use your tools -- Collaborate with a team of marketing, product and engineering professionals to engage technology solutions that can bring efficiency to clients in a clear and concise fashion.
    • Deliver the goods -- Enjoy a fast paced environment with lots of things going on and a desire to sell solutions in a new market category.
    Desired Skills & Experience
    • 5+ years of experience in energy or other financial markets
    • Passion for penetrating a new market segment with creativity and focus
    • Expertise in the tools (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required to do your work, and the drive to maintain that expertise
    • Clear communication, collaboration and organizational skills
    • Existing relationships within energy space to catalyze sales a significant plus
